Hello Friends of Kidding Around,
Happy National Library Week!
If you have to be stuck inside, why not listen to a good story?
For the next few weeks, we will be posting themed resources to help you through this puzzling time, this week we are highlighting virtual story times.
Below we have curated a list of story times that we think are really fun, we also recommend searching some of your children’s favorite authors to see if they are offering anything virtually.
Virtual storytimes are a great way to encourage your children to read and to learn basic skills and lessons from great picture books.
One of our favorites is “Save with Stories”, a series where movie stars dramatically read children’s picture books over Instagram. There is a new one every day! Since “Save with Stories” is a charity organized by Save the Children and No Kid Hungry, we encourage you to donate so they can continue their work helping children impacted by the coronavirus.
